This is how you respond to complaints 🙌 Accountability, understanding and the desire to rectify the situation and improve. Thank you. Absolutely appalled 😤 DO NOT BRING YOUR NEURODIVERGENT CHILD TO JC PENNY as it's apparently company policy to attempt to correct your child for you. As a child I can't count how many times I've gone up the escalator the wrong way, and seen teenagers do the same. Recognizing the possibility of the falling hazard, but seeing the parent is literally right there watching waiting for my son to get over it and move on to the next thing. I first had an employee try to talk to him directly, then someone try and tell me to correct him. When I politely explained that I was right there and he didn't need their correction, they sent someone from Loss and Prevention to intimidate us. I'm surprised that a corporation that serves "families" isn't more in tune, it's 2026 and unfortunately not all kids are "normal". I'm again appalled, and definitely contacting corporate on this.

Told my mom that she couldn't afford a high end wallet that she's needed to shop somewhere else. So we left and went to JCpennys..I can't stand snotty women who judge people by how they are dressed..

After finding my selection I proceeded to check out. Salvador was very engaging and even asked my name and occupation.
