- DDDesigner1 day ago1.0Came in to possibly sell my diamond earrings. The man who helped me. Spoke so loudly that everyone in the store could hear. No privacy at all. Asked what price I was looking to get. And quickly told me that I was way off. Then continued to talk louder telling me how this works and how I will only get about a tenth of the price in which I purchased for. That I will not get that price anywhere else. And will need to sell privately. He did not even look into the quality of my diamonds. He did not examine my earrings. Just took one look at my Ben Bridge certificate value and purchased price and that was it. Basically stating that $45,000 would have an offer of $4,500. I did not expect to receive what I paid for them. But when you ask what my price would be and then I state it. Don’t shut me down and tell me how it all works in front of a crowded room as if I am not educated. There was no need for him to be so abrasive and loud. I actually looked into selling them back in 2020. And went to your West Seattle location. They were very friendly and took the time to really look at my diamond earrings. But I declined to sell at the time. And they made a much higher offer than this man was stating. I could not even pack up everything fast enough before he called over the next person. While I was still standing there. There was barely any room with three people at the counter. As the man who came up was touching my shoulder. I had to move over to the other counter. To finish putting away my jewelry. Ridiculous.I felt dismissed and disrespected. I will never return.

Although they were very busy, when it came time for my daughter's turn, she felt so comfortable and the person helping her was so pleasant, that she said afterwards, there was no need to bring her dad along. Very nice with pricing that is the best I've seen anywhere.
