Prices are higher than the other goodwills and regularly higher than buying things new. I've bought too many things that were broken but they hid it to sell anyway, like a remote with corroded batteries but in a bag so you can't check. More times than I can count, items with tags for the color of the sale that week they decide are not supposed to be that color.
And they regularly change the price of items because they decide they were mismarked. Honestly, it's just not worth it, better to spend the time going elsewhere.

Honestly one of the better thrift stores in the entire seattle area, place can sometimes be a bit of a mess, but the customers are more to blame for the mess than the employees that are constantly also acting as their babysitter. (Its amazes me how many people break things and just leave it for the employee to clean up.) They always get some amazing donations, which can be priced a little bit high.. which is why I left it at 4 stars, but thats just the state of prices everywhere I suppose. I wanted to give a HUGE shout out the beautiful lady with pink and blue hair who helped me out when I was shopping and answered all my questions along with my cashier sarai who was the sweestest cashier I've ever dealt with. I like to shop at all the thrift stores in the area, but the Burien Goodwill is my fav by far and the people who work there make it even better.

Just another thrift store that prices clothes that it gets for free like it’s a consignment shop. A donated skirt from the 90s priced at $24.99 is absurd. At least the fitting rooms are open and they didn’t turn all of their checkouts to self checkout like Value Village did. And everyone who works there was really nice.
Edit: yes I’ve seen the same copy and pasted response to everyone who has complained about high prices. Lower your prices and you’ll make even more money for that job training y’all claim.

This goodwill is always well stocked with new merchandise daily. The staff working on the floor are always very friendly and helpful if you have questions. There prices are better than some of the other goodwill stores I have shopped at recently but be careful waiting in the checkout line because they have alot of candy and sweets to tempt you with while you are waiting in line. They get me everytime. 🤗

I visited this store a few times and each time one common thing I noticed is the prices for old and sunny stuff is higher than buying new stuff from the stores like Ross or Marshall their new stuff is cheaper than the old used things here. In addition they also charge tax.
Why would any one buy stuff that's not great and expensive and more importantly the staff are not friendly.
Every time I thing of doing something environment friendly and go here, I feel what's the point thinking about environment when I can get better products for lower price?
