It was nice, it was a mess, which I would expect on a $1.99 day. But it definitely was clean. They had enough checkers to clear the line quickly.

WE MUST RALLY TOGETHER TO BOYCOTT THESE PRICES!
There's no excuse for this kind of pricing
There's just not for a few points here:
Processor Quotas Drive Pricing:
Internal reports and employee leaks reveal that Goodwill staff are pressured to meet daily pricing quotas, sometimes targeting $10K/day in merchandise. This incentivizes inflated pricing, especially for branded items like Nike or boutique dresses.
- “Boutique” Sections Are Strategic: Stores now segment high-value donations into boutique areas, pricing them closer to retail or consignment—even though the items are donated.
- Job Training Justification: Goodwill claims that revenue funds job training and education programs. While they do offer services like resume help, digital skills, and placement support, critics argue that the scale of price inflation far exceeds what’s needed to sustain these programs.
I Challenge the “Job Training” Narrative:
- Revenue vs. Services: Goodwill Industries International reported over $6 billion in revenue in recent years, yet ONLY A FRACTION GOES directly TO JOB training. (super tired of this scripted narrative and no one is buying this excuse anymore) MUCH IS SPENT ON: executive salaries, real estate, and operations.
- Executive Compensation: SOME REGIONAL GOODWILL CEOs EARN $500K+ annually, so I reject ur claim on nonprofit priorities.
- Disability Wage Controversy: Goodwill has faced backlash for paying employees with disabilities below minimum wage under Section 14(c) of the Fair Labor Standards Act—a contradiction to their stated mission of empowerment.

This is my favorite Goodwill in Kitsap County! I go to all 3 routinely throughout the week! Only reason I give it a 3 star out of 5. Considering its my favorite is sometimes certain staff can be down outright rude! I've left crying or feeling so upset. However, the staff that are outstanding make up for the few that make you never want to come back! Second reason is the pricing is a bit ridiculous for used and sometimes ruined things. The fact I do find outstanding and fantastic items that are very reasonable is the reason I keep coming back. Its the place I go for a zen day or retail therapy🤭🤣
The Manager really is great about listening to the feed back and finding solutions. Pictures below are just a couple of the amazing finds for cheap!

Went shopping for nothing. Ended up leaving with a bunch of stuff! Everything is clean and organized and signed well. I knew what the prices were and what was on sale. Checking out was a breeze and I left satisfied with my purchase! Thanks to everyone in the store for being so kind!!! I’ll be back!

prices are way too high.. a dress for$24 it's too much. I can buy a dress at Walmart for $24 brand new. I don't know who does their pricing but if you are on social security like me you really can't afford to go to Goodwill.. I don't understand that because everything they get is donated I don't believe that they are a non-profit organization..
