- HFHelen FuNov 8, 20251.0I am writing to express my disappointment with today’s in-store experience While trying on a cape at stores, I asked the sales(Julia) if a larger size was available. Instead of answering directly, she repeatedly insisted that the size SM was the most suitable for me. She also commented that a larger size would not look good on me and mentioned that no bigger sizes were available on the West Coast — that I would have to go to New York to find one. Feeling pressured by her insistence, I ended up purchasing the SM size, even though I usually wear an XL. After returning home, I checked the official Max Mara website and found that the same cape is indeed available in ML. This left me both frustrated and confused, as it shows that a larger size does exist and could have been ordered or brought in for me to try. I truly wish I had been given the opportunity to try the larger size in-store so I could make a proper comparison and see how it actually fits on me. The sales experience felt pushy and dismissive, as if the priority was to make a quick sale rather than help me find what suits me best. As a customer, I value the quality and elegance that Max Mara represents, but this experience did not reflect that level of care and professionalism. I hope you will review this matter and remind your staff to provide more transparent, patient, and customer-focused service.
