- KMKen MatuszewskiNov 9, 20251.0This rating would be lower if I could. My 16 year old son ordered tickets for him and his girlfriend to see a movie. 1st actual date for them. The tickets were just over $26 when he ordered them online, it charged him four times for the tickets totaling over $100. After charging him four times it never even gave him tickets so for $104 he had nothing. He did not have enough money left in the account to buy additional tickets when he showed up on site and tried to work this out. The manager insisted this wasn’t her problem and that she had no control over what AMC was doing even though she worked for AMC. I scrambled to get up there to help out and her response to me was it’s not my problem if he doesn’t have enough money talk to your bank I fronted the additional money for him to be able to Go to the movies however at this point, I’m out over $100 because of AMC theaters. There is no chance I would ever go to another movie at an AMC theater and I suggest you watch yourself when you’re doing business with them.
