  Did an online pick up order. Went to 2 different employees to request where to go to do a pick up order neither of them where willing to help. Finally found the right person for the pick up order took them 30 min I the back for them to tell me the items where out of stock. I had to pick up something else while I was there they had all the items in stock I order. Definitely won't be back wasted an hour if my life here people wasn't friendly overall a zero experience.

  Assistant floor manager at the 3451 South Rio Grand Avenue Unit CMontrose, CO Kermit went above and beyond customer service on transferring items to my location near me in Roanoke Va. items honestly to be found nowhere close he made it happen to make a sale and deliver awesome costumer service.   Sportsman’s warehouse is a store that I have purchased multiple firearms from and for a while was my go to for all things sporting goods. The store seems to be on a down hill trajectory with other competitors moving into the nrv with better customer service. I visited this Roanoke location a couple of weeks ago with a new CZ brand shotgun(as sportsman’s is the only large retailer in the area for cz) I figured I would be able to get some assistance with trading in my new shotgun and purchasing the model I wanted. At first I visited the counter and was asked what I wanted. The salesman said it would be a little while before someone could appraise it for me. Which I understood since there were a number of people at the counter before I got there. I waited for about 20 or so minutes and just observed what others were buying and noticed a hound dog baying somewhere in the store. Which is normal at most sporting good stores that allow pets. As a dog man myself that seemed normal. At this point another sales associate checks on me and ask if I had been helped yet. I share that I hadn’t he then wen and spoke with the person that does appraisals. I wait another 30 minutes and notice the person responsible for appraisals is in the back of the shop dealing with his dog who is the dog baying in the back of the store. No sweat I wait another 20 or so minutes before the second sales man notices I still haven’t been assisted and gets the appraisal manager from the back with his dog. Who in a hurry ask me what kind of firearm I have and would like an appraisal for. Then tells me in so few words that the appraisal would only be a few hundred dollars and that sportsman’s warehouse didn’t wasn’t to purchase my firearm without having even looked at it. So at this point I have wasted an hour of my time to learn that sportsman’s warehouse didn’t like to purchase firearms or essentially want my money to purchase the cz shotgun they had in stock and I had cash prepared to pay for. Customer service at the gun bar has backslid noticeably which is a shame. I have been a sportsman’s warehouse customer for quite some time. Save your time and your money and shop a smaller store or take your money elsewhere to get better service.

  Not one to pull the race card but I just had the most prejudice, genuinely racist experience Ive had in a while. Went in very excited to look for a new conceal carry and had a bunch of questions I wanted to ask, only to be met with very dismissive, and annoyed staff who seemed as if they couldn’t be bothered to even acknowledge me. Ive bought guns from here in the past and the last time the guy behind the counter was very informative, attentive, and helpful. These guys today just seemed agitated with me before I even spoke to any of them. The one younger guy eventually wound up being helpful and explaining his experience with a gun I was interested in but at this point I had already decided I didnt want to give these guys my business. They were all laughing and joking with the older white customers but they see a younger mixed race man and got really weird.This establishment gave me “white only” vibes.
