Took my son to find shoes today, worst experience ever!!!!!! This store needs help BAD!!!! Men’s shoes scattered all over, none matched together, very few were on the correct size racks, my son went to ask the lady behind the counter for help and she didn’t even acknowledge him. However she was very quick to acknowledge the people who came up behind him, after waiting awhile we finally asked another worker for help and he told us to just look (like we hadn’t, so I made him aware that we’ve tried but it’s hard with no organization in the shoe area). Finally we go to leave and another employee, with her hands filled goes to walk by (so I step to the side, so she can pass) and about knocks into me…. no excuse me, no sorry….. yet again no acknowledgment from another employee.

I usually try not to write bad reviews because I try to give some grace to the employees. But I’m honestly so aggravated with my experience that I feel it’s worth sharing. I went to drop off 2 baskets of clothing around 6:00pm and I got the confirmation text that said it would be done by 7:30pm. I stayed out while I was waiting for them to be done but by the time it was 7:00pm it said they hadn’t started sorting the clothes yet so I decided to call and ask if I could pick them up in the morning when they open. When I called, a girl on the phone said that she’d start sorting it right away so it would be done on time. When I went to pick it up I was so incredibly frustrated. Not only did they take just 3 items for 8 dollars but half of each basket wasn’t even sorted through, all of my things were folded the exact way that they were when I dropped them off. I’ve had trouble with this in the past but never this bad. I guess I’ll be driving 45 minutes to the christiansburg location where the employees there actually take their time sorting through items and aren’t heard gossiping about customers throughout the store. Just saying, if you aren’t going to do your job properly maybe you shouldn’t have that job at all…

I’ve been shopping at and taking clothes to this location for years and it seems like things have gone down hill after Covid. Today, I showed up with two large bins of clothes — American eagle jeans, boutique clothing, etc. Once I brought my second large bin inside, the employee told me they were only taking brands such as Alo, LuluLemon, Free People, etc. and I was frustrated I didn’t see this advertised on social media because I wouldn’t have wasted my time to come in there just for them to take 5 of my items for $15 cash. Next time I’ll opt to take my items to Salvation Army or a Women’s Shelter. Would recommend calling before bringing all of your items over. Completely understand they want premium brands but just feels a bit deceptive to not advertise this.

Soon as I walk in, I get attitude from the intake person to drop off, I took brand new footwear name brand, that was never used brand new in a box they gonna offer me three and four dollars for brand new footwear I said Absolutely not I will need my belongings back and the box that it came in, I will never waste my time going in there again just lost the customer for sure it’s really no need for the attitude. If u didn’t wanna come to work, you should’ve stayed at home. If you don’t wanna deal with people don’t get a job where you dealing with people and honestly, this is not the first time this have happened. Y’all need to hire people with better attitudes honestly, the bitter attitude people that work there they’re running your customers away!
