- AAAshleyOct 19, 20241.0About a week ago we made our first purchase here after years of not finding a need to go into an Aerie. The experience while shopping was great. However, today we wanted to exchange an item. The return policy is different from most retail stores. We did not have to give an email to purchase items but had to give one to make an exchange (had receipt and the tags were still attached). While trying to exchange the item, the employee that I later found out was the night manager was unacceptable rude. We did not have an email address that we wanted to provide and she stated “Then we don’t need to return the item.”. Not everyone has a email and/or wants to provide one and receive 100’s of emails. I spoke with another manger that seemed apologetic. We most likely won’t return to another Aerie, but it’s not like that matters.

Everytime I visit all the employees are working hard to keep the store looking pristine but always stop what they are doing to help. You can tell by the way everyone works so hard that they love their jobs and it shows!
