  This is the only J Crew I ever want to shop at. The store manager Russell is an absolute gem. Every time I have been here, he has come up to me and let me know about sales, even offering his thoughts on clothes I try on. The store is extremely clean and well-organized; you won’t find disorganized piles or tightly packed racks here. Thank you to this store’s friendly staff, especially Russell.

  Dear Store Management, I am writing to share a concern regarding my shopping experience on Thursday, February 26, 2026, at your RTC location. I visited your store with the sole intention of making a purchase. Within less than five minutes of entering, I was approached by three different staff members. While I understand customer service is important, the frequency and manner of these interactions made me uncomfortable. After browsing in the women’s section, I moved to the men’s department to look for something for my husband to wear to an upcoming gathering. A male associate followed me into the men’s section and immediately began commenting on the shirt I had picked up. At that point, the experience no longer felt like attentive service — it felt like I was being monitored. I do not enjoy being followed while shopping. I prefer to browse and make purchasing decisions in peace. For context, I was appropriately dressed in a Polo Ralph Lauren sweater and jacket, black pants, and Dr. Martens boots. I share this not because attire should matter, but because the level of surveillance felt unnecessary and unwarranted. I sincerely hope this was not an instance of racial profiling. However, the experience left me feeling uncomfortable enough to leave without completing my purchase. I would appreciate it if this matter could be reviewed so that other customers do not have a similar experience. Thank you for your time and attention.

  Came here on Wednesday morning, two sales associates completely ignoring me, kept talking amongst themselves in Spanish loudly, and when I asked for a sizing they looked at me like they are completely taken back. Not even a “hi”, “how can I help you”. Mind you I was the only customer in that store. Super unfriendly, and unprofessional.
