  The reviews speak for themselves. This previous weekend I went over to Cole Haan to go buy a new pair of work shoes . I’ve had shoes from Cole Hahn before and they were amazing. Instantly once I walked into the store I wasn’t greeted. I wasn’t acknowledged at all. I waited for approximately 15 minutes just to even get serviced with asking if they had a size 7. Once they brought me the shoe they only offered a size 8 which is okay but, this one female Employee kept staring at me as if I was going to steal the shoe or runoff with the shoe. It made me feel uncomfortable. It felt prejudice. And just completely unprofessional service. I took a picture of the label in advance just to see what would happen when I asked the lady about the shoe. I asked her if there was an available size at a different location in the direction that I was going towards. Her response was well that they offer new shoes that other locations might not have and that I would have to call them myself. Cole Haan Corporate please do something better about this. I didn’t even want to purchase the shoe afterwards. Coming from a service industry job this is terrible.

  This store was the best, after going all over Tyson’s Mall looking for a pair of dress shoes for my husband with a 12 1/2 size foot, we finally found shoes. This store was wonderful, what a great selection of shoes. The two salesclerks were wonderful.

  I went into this shoe store for the first time today, and although the shoes were great the service however, was not. There was only one other person there shopping and neither of the sales people greeted me or asked me if I needed any help so I turned around and walked right out. They obviously had more to say to each other than they did to customers, so unfortunately they will not get my business.

  Pretty store, nice selection of shoes and accessories, we liked the layout of the store and the customer service was attentive and patient. A nice addition to this mall.

  I wish Google allowed a zero-star rating for this experience. We visited the Cole Haan store last night to return a pair of shoes purchased online. Before going, I carefully reviewed the return policy, which clearly states that online orders may be returned in retail stores. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere did not feel welcoming. I explained that I would like to return the shoes, and a female staff member immediately told me that they only accept returns for full-price items, which was not mentioned in the return policy. Since Cole Haan often has promotions, I was unsure whether my order qualified, so I asked her to check. She seemed reluctant but eventually entered the order number into the system, and our order came up, so it appeared that the return was eligible. When she examined the shoes, she quickly declared that they had been worn, without asking why I was returning them. She refused to process the return. The shoes had arrived to me loosely packed, and the soles looked dirty, very much like shoes that had been tried on in a store before purchase. Instead of considering that possibility, the staff member accused me of having worn the shoes. The situation escalated when voices were raised and the shoe box was pushed back and forth. A male staff member then threatened to call mall security, which was extremely upsetting. Being treated as though I were dishonest, and then being threatened in that way, felt both insulting and unnecessary. Ultimately, they told me to come back when the manager was on duty the next day. I chose not to return, as I did not want another unpleasant encounter. Instead, I called customer service, who sent me a return label and processed the refund without issue. Cole Haan, I believe these two employees were neither well-trained nor professional in handling the situation. Their behavior was unwelcoming and dismissive, as if they were working in a luxury store selling items worth thousands of dollars, and we appeared unable to afford them. My hope is that this feedback is taken seriously so other customers do not experience the same treatment.
