We had a truly great experience at Cartier. From the moment we walked in, we were welcomed warmly by the staff, which set the tone right away. Feby, our sales associate, was fantastic. She made us feel completely comfortable and took the time to give us a tour of the newly renovated and expanded store. It was really special getting to see the new art pieces that were created specifically for the DC location and some of the high jewelry pieces that were on display. She was knowledgeable, patient, and walked us through everything we were interested in without any pressure. She also did a great job explaining what it means to be a Cartier client and the level of service that comes with it. Overall, it felt like a very personal and elevated experience, and we left feeling taken care of and excited about our purchase. We’ll definitely be back.

I had a very disappointing experience at Cartier today. My wife visited the store and showed a necklace on her phone to a sales associate. The female associate redirected her to a male associate and mentioned that the necklace was in stock, just not displayed in the showcase. However, when we spoke to the male associate, he simply said the store was busy due to the Easter holiday and asked us to come back next week — without even offering us the option to wait or checking further. This was especially frustrating because the store was not crowded at the time, and there were other sales associates available. For a luxury brand like Cartier, we expected a much higher level of customer service. Being turned away so casually without any effort to assist left us feeling unwelcome and disrespected. We hope the store can improve its service and treat all customers with the professionalism and attention that the brand represents.

I’m extremely frustrated with my experience at your store. I waited for over an hour after being told via message that it is my turn, only to arrive and be told to keep waiting because “it’s Saturday and we have a lot of customers” That is completely unacceptable. The entire situation reflects poor organization, and disregard for customers’ time. The store felt chaotic, and no one seemed to have a clear process in place. This level of customer service is disappointing and frankly ridiculous. Based on this experience, I would have no hesitation giving a negative rating and would seriously reconsider returning in the future.

I had an incredibly disappointing experience at Cartier. From the moment I walked in, the greeter’s attitude was noticeably cold, dismissive, and frankly judgmental. It felt less like entering a luxury boutique and more like being sized up and quietly deemed “not worth the time.” What made this particularly surprising is that I have previously made purchases here without issue and believed I had a positive relationship with the store and its sales associates. That history made the abrupt shift in treatment even more disappointing. To be fair, I initially tried to give the benefit of the doubt—perhaps she was just having a bad day. I made multiple visits and gave it more than one chance. Unfortunately, across three separate interactions, the tone and treatment remained the same. The interaction was reminiscent of that infamous scene in Pretty Woman where Julia Roberts’ character is judged and dismissed by a sales associate based on her appearance—only for it to turn out to be a “big mistake… huge.” Luxury is not just about products—it’s about experience. And in this case, the experience fell far below the standard one would expect from a brand like Cartier. No customer should feel judged or dismissed based on appearances. My recommendation to anyone who has a similar experience: consider purchasing from another Cartier location and having the item shipped to this boutique. That way, the impact of these interactions is tangible—because ultimately, poor service should carry consequences, including lost commission. I won’t be returning.

I had a great experience at Cartier Tysons Galleria, this was my first Cartier purchase, so I was really excited going in. My client advisor, Ricky, took excellent care of me throughout the process. I had a good idea of what I wanted, but wasn’t sure about sizing, so I tried on the tank louis in both medium and large. We agreed that the large looked better, and I personally preferred the automatic movement over quartz, which made the decision even easier. The only thing I’d note is that the new in store pieces had some visible wear, so I decided to pass on those. That’s obviously not the advisor’s fault, but I would recommend inspecting your piece very carefully before purchasing. Ricky handled it professionally, and we ended up ordering a brand new new piece from their warehouse instead. I returned about five days later to pick it up, just after their boutique’s grand reopening. The refreshed space looks fantastic, very elegant with a nice DC inspired touch. The experience was elevated even further with sparkling water, chocolates, and champagne to celebrate the purchase. Overall, it was a very memorable experience, and I’m extremely happy with both the watch and the service. Special thanks to Ricky for making it smooth and enjoyable. I’ll definitely be back.
