- MMMoFeb 3, 20261.0Scammers! Technician added a fee on my smart start account and told me it is "a fault with their system right now so just call smart start to have them remove the balance" AFTER I paid for my appointment. Then when I call smart start they say there is nothing they can do about the fee and I will most likely have to pay it. Avoid these guys unless you really need to make an appointment there!
- ACAustin CondeJan 16, 20261.0i wish i could put a zero, these people are scammers, time wasters. your life is about to get messed up dealing with these folks an bank account drained. i got into a car crash and the didn’t once car about me or my health just there totaled device that they made me pay for after the already made me pay a removal fee to send someone to get it from junk yard then sneakily put a hold on my account for a calibration appointment for new car. these people are here to financially drain you and to make everyday a nightmare don’t even get me started with how poorly the device works
- ETErin TaylorJan 7, 20261.0I would give 0 stars if there was the option. We had an appointment, which we had to tow the car to, but 5 minutes before, they called and said the technician was sick. We scheduled multiple appointments after that in which they kept calling back and saying they have to cancel. Finally, we got a standing appointment… or so we thought. We towed the car which was $210 to smart start for us to get there and THEYRE CLOSED - yes, they confirmed an appointment (on a random Wednesday) and were closed and never notified us this time. We had to tow the truck BACK home (another couple hundred) because smart start wouldn’t let us park there and “the property manager will tow us.” This lack of customer service was absolutely disappointing, especially because this was 1, not our first attempt in making an appointment, and 2, the hundreds and hundreds of dollars we had to spend for THEIR inconvenience. I highly recommend not going here. There’s really nothing they can do to make this better except a formal apology and full refund for the tow trucks we had to pay for, for no reason because they couldn’t give us a damn call telling us they’re closed, literally the day after we called to make an appointment. This place is absolutely a disappointment. Shame on those who also wouldn’t even let us leave the car there until they opened up next. (Which BTW, IS A WEEK LATER). What a disgrace of a company.

How does an Interlock Device work?
When you blow into your Ignition Interlock Device, you're providing a breath test sample in order to start the vehicle. The device then measures your Breath Alcohol Concentration (BrAC), and will either say that you passed, need to retest, or failed. You will be asked to take rolling retests throughout your drive.
