- IIInaDec 4, 20251.0I went to return an item that I didn’t like the fit of, sadly I did not have my receipt but I knew all the details to give them on how to find it and knew they could look it up by phone number The manager here during the time was Kristy, and she was absolutely wonderful and so helpful, she definitely deserves some praise! Kind, funny, and truly a great spirit to have at Sportsman’s. However, the two younger girls were extremely rude and did not want to deal with the transaction whatsoever… which is why I requested the manager… the girls were extremely unprofessional and not a good look for the company. They insisted that they did not know how to do the return and to go find my receipt instead or exchange it. I suggest the owner hire some professional employees or retrain the current girls so this won’t happen to others.. The girls did not even watch how the manager did the process, instead they left and went to gossip about other things.. instead of learning, they chose to make their manager do the work…
- JRJason ReamDec 3, 20251.0Absolutely shady. I went into the store in Lynchburg, VA to purchase a Ruger RXM. Employee at the gun counter refused to price match a competitors ad. I contacted customer support and they told me they have a specific list of competitors that they would price match. I looked up their list and found one that had a better price. They refused to price match an already sold item. The gun I bought hasn’t even arrived yet. Played email games and messenger games for several days. Told them to refund my entire purchase. Now they want to discuss assisting, literally as I sit here writing this. If a company will screw you for any reason, they will screw you for every reason. Don’t buy from these people. Update: They did match the one competitor that beat them by $10. Also included a coupon for future purchases. I went in today to pick up the holster I ordered. Thought I’d grab some ammo. Wouldn’t you know it, they had to slip an inch in while I was looking the other way. They marked Federal Black Pack up to $79.99 when everyone else is under $59.99, then put a sign up saying $20 off. It wasn’t. I looked at my receipt after I had left the store. They shoved it in for $74.99. Sportsman’s Warehouse can KMA!! Do not do business with these clowns.

- JJJoshua JoynerNov 5, 20251.0My friend bought a hardcase for his gun, which has locks built into the case and it was supposed to come with keys inside (it didn't) and after calling and asking for assistance, they put me on hold and hung up after I waited for 10 minutes. They also tried to convince us that none of their cases used locks or keys, so they don't even know their own products and a regular cleaning kit for any gun is over $50. No thanks, do not waste your time at this store.
