  NEVER COMING BACK TO THIS STORE! Had a terrible experience today due to the so-called manager on duty. He was rude, confrontational, dishonest, and highly unprofessional. He refused multiple times to identify himself, and no one in the store was wearing a name tag. After reading other reviews, I noticed multiple complaints about this same individual, including a review with his photo, which I am also referencing here since he refuses accountability. Corporate should have no trouble identifying him. This raises serious concerns about whether Tommy Hilfiger corporate has any control or oversight over its store personnel and customer treatment.

  I had one of the most unprofessional and unpleasant retail experiences I’ve ever had at the Tommy Hilfiger Outlet in Leesburg, VA. I went in today to return an item I purchased last week. I had the receipt and the physical card used for purchase. The associate who claimed to be the “manager on duty” (no name tag, refused multiple times to provide his name) refused the return, incorrectly stating that because I used Apple Pay, I must present my phone—despite having the same card in hand and a valid receipt. His tone was rude, dismissive, and confrontational. He repeatedly talked over me, escalated the situation unnecessarily, and then accused me of lying when I questioned his explanation. Within minutes, another manager stepped in and immediately processed the return with no issue, confirming that the first manager’s claim was completely incorrect. Afterward, he attempted to backtrack and falsely state that he had “already offered that option,” which was simply not true. What made this worse: •    No employees were wearing name tags •    The manager on duty refused to identify himself •    He provided incorrect information, behaved disrespectfully, and then tried to rewrite what happened This interaction alone has permanently turned me off from shopping at Tommy Hilfiger. Poor leadership like this actively drives customers away and damages the brand. I strongly recommend corporate leadership review this store’s management practices and personnel. The manager was a South American male in his 30-40’s.

  Horrible customer experience. We bought underwear in size small. We opened one pair to try on (over our clothes) and opened the other box only to check the quality. When we went to return them, we were told they could not be accepted simply because the packages had been opened. The manager also told us it was “disgusting” for someone to wear underwear and return it. Of course we wouldn’t wear them directly—like any reasonable customer, we tried them on over clothing. And any customer who buys underwear will wash them before wearing them anyway. The manager also questioned us, asking how it was possible that we “didn’t know our underwear size.” What kind of attitude is that? Of course sizes differ between countries and brands—this is completely normal. Customers try on items precisely because sizing varies, and any professional staff member should know this. The attitude and refusal to help were unacceptable. We left the items there and still didn’t receive a refund. What brand treats its customers this way? I would never buy from Tommy again after this experience. The manager was extremely impolite throughout the entire interaction. Instead of helping us, he made unnecessary comments and treated us as if we were doing something wrong, which only made the experience even more frustrating and unprofessional.

  Manager should take a day off, not friendly and stressed out. We bought 6 item but all item we take a look, Manager following to take every single item back to the shelf. We just leave and compare for decide.
