- DDDaveNov 5, 20251.0We are so disappointed with Cabela’s decision to trespass and tow RV owners from their property. My wife and I loved coming to this location after a long drive. This was our stop on the way to the Urbanna Oyster Festival and to the Outer Banks in our Airstream. We would go inside, stretch our legs and buy some things depending on our destination. We would spend the night and then go to Wegman’s next door and buy our groceries in the morning. Our average bill was around $300 between the two. We aren’t looking for a free place to stay. We are Harvest Host members. This will no longer be our go to store. We will also be posting this on the Airstream International forum to bring attention to this corporate decision.

I went in for professional advice, was sold the wrong product. They would not allow me to exchange for the correct product. I had not even left the store. They also did a friend the same exact way. I believe they’re doing it on purpose.

We had an issue with our boat on Friday morning, called the service department and talked with Jamie and explained what we had going on. He told us to swing by and he would take a quick look and try to help us out. Upon arrival Jamie and Chance came out and tested our batteries, found that they were very weak and replaced them under warranty for us. Overall great experience with everyone we spoke with at the store.

I ordered a pair of hunting boots and when they arrived, I had been sent one boot in size 6 and the other in size 7, with two different color camo. Customer service seemed great and said they understood it was their fault and they would overnight the correct boots so I would have them in time for my hunting trip at the end of the week. NOPE! They dropped the ball again and sent them standard, with two days of processing, so boots won't even get here in time. In all of this I made an extra trip to get the screwed up order sent back to them the next morning. I would have just taken my time at this rate. I'm so disappointed. I never even got any notices of what was going on with the new order until I contacted customer service again and was told it was sent standard. I guess I will return these for refund if they ever get here and shop at a better store.
