Bass Pro Shops is a really nice place and pretty much has everything you need for fishing and hunting. The selection is huge, whether you’re looking for gear, clothing, or accessories, and it’s easy to spend a lot of time just walking around. The atmosphere is extremely nice, especially with the outdoor-themed setup, displays, and overall layout.
The store is clean, well organized, and fun to visit even if you’re not shopping for something specific. Staff is generally helpful, and the whole place feels more like an experience than just a regular store. The only reason I’m giving it four stars instead of five is that some items can be a bit pricey, and it can get crowded at times.
Overall, Bass Pro Shops is a great spot for anyone into fishing, hunting, or outdoor activities, and definitely worth stopping by.

First time at this location and we were very pleased. We went for the photos with Santa and it was a great experience especially since this was our son's first christmas. Definitely recommend going here for photos and the prices for the items in the store weren't bad at all! Definitely found a few things for the hubby and brother. Place is kept extremely neat and clean. No complaints here :).

If I could give 0 stars I would. I came and sat inline for 12 hours for the Black Friday sale and got a 50$ giftcard. On the envelope they give you with the gift card (THAT U CANNOT USE ON BLACKFRIDAY) and only have actually 19 days to use it because some of the days they are closed for the holiday. It says expires Dec 30th on the envelope but in fine print on the gift card it says Dec 27th. On Dec 28th they didn’t want to honor the gift card. Not only that the promised tote bags were also not given out on Black Friday. One of the biggest scam bass pro shops and very rude when THEIR envelope was the one that stated Dec 30th. Will be contacting corp about the whole situation

Waited for two hours, to be helped at the gun counter. I knew what I wanted and intended to purchase. Eventually I asked what the hold up was. I was informed that to be seen first, or really in any decent amount of time, I’d need to have made an appointment. While I had “taken a number” and was in line. I was told it’d be another hour and a half before I’d be helped. And what would happen if more appointments showed up? I’d get bumped again? Nope. Never returning here for any firearm purchases. Or any hunting/outdoor purchases either. Yall can have the credit card back too. Want to buy a gun in Norfolk? Go to Bobs instead. Far more organised, knowledgeable and professional. Was in and out with my new 45 in less than an hour.

I’ve Never really had an issue here in the past purchasing firearms until my last two instances.
I went in to purchase a rifle and had to sign in through the QR code they provide. Number 31 in line at 2:50pm. I did not grab my receipt with my rifle until 8:45pm. Myself and a few other gentlemen waited HOURS just to be helped.
The entire 6hrs I was waiting in the firearm section. I saw employees (authorized firearm sales persons) standing around. I watched a gentlemen take another employee into the back room to purchase a handgun for himself instead of helping customers. And as the night went on it went from 4-5 sales employees to 2.
I understand it is the holiday season and it may be busy but that doesn’t mean you get a get out of jail free card.
1. Use your numbering system correctly. Nobody was messaged that their spot in line was ready, the employees practically whispered their name and went on through the queue
2. Notify your customers of a long wait time. If the gun I purchased wasn’t the only one I could find in the area I would have walked straight out after an hour.
3. Show more grace to your customers, 3 people waited hours to purchase a firearm then were told “hey we’re closing soon here’s a coupon” I would have been absolutely livid if I wasted my breath in that store for hours just to be told here’s a coupon go home.
If you’re looking to purchase a firearm here, take your business elsewhere. IT IS NOT WORTH IT. Tacticool firearms on Warwick blvd is 10x better and hardly more expensive
