- EBEdward Boyd2 days ago1.0I am writing to express my disappointment with the customer service I experienced at your local Sportsman’s Warehouse on Saturday evening around 7:00 p.m. I entered the store with the intention of purchasing a specialty rifle. At the firearms counter, there were at least five associates present. I approached the counter and was acknowledged only with a smile from one female associate, but no one offered assistance. I proceeded to browse the rifle racks along the wall, making several passes without being approached by any staff. Ironically, the first person to ask if I had found the rifle I was looking for was my wife—not a store associate. When we looked back toward the firearms counter, all of the associates were huddled together, laughing and passing around a shooting scope, rather than assisting customers. I informed my wife that I would either return at another time or take my business elsewhere. However, she had found an item at a good price and wished to proceed with the purchase. At checkout, there was only one associate operating the register. He was repeatedly calling for assistance to get the register operational, but no help arrived. A line of customers quickly formed. When I asked whether anyone else was coming to assist, the associate looked at his handheld radio and replied, “I don’t know, I think they are.” After waiting several more minutes and seeing the line continue to grow, I placed our items on the counter, returned the shopping cart, and came back to find the situation unchanged. I informed the associate that the items could be restocked, as we would be leaving. We then exited the store without making a purchase. This experience reflected a serious lack of customer service, situational awareness, and staff responsiveness—especially concerning for a firearms department. Based on this visit, I do not believe I will return to this location. I hope this feedback is taken seriously and used to improve future customer experiences.

Tre was fantastic to work with on our firearms purchases today, extremely knowledgeable and friendly and gave us honest recommendations about what we were looking for.
- DDDJ4 days ago5.0I have learned one bad apple shouldn't ruin the bunch just because I had a bad experience with one person dosnt mean everyone should suffer the guy that helped me out after everything Russell dude was great down to earth laid back even the manger there that called me was great guy thats why im changing it from a 1 to a 5...talking to these 2 guys has definitely shown me why I do business with sportsman warehouse and il definitely be returning to Fredericksburg va one now thanks for everything

I try to give the benefit of the doubt but 3 different times I was in that store 15 minutes looking for a product and everytime i asked a staff member for help they would say "It's probably over there" and watch me looking for it the whole time. Those guys in the back by the guns seem like they really don't want to do any work or work with you if you're not buying a gun, y'all need to do better!

Knowledgeable staff, especially in the guns, Jordan has always been especially helpful and clearly has a passion for what he does. Only reason for the 4-stars is due to their pricing being on the higher side although they do offer military/veterans discounts. I'm okay paying a bit more to be able to put hands on an item before I buy it. Will definitely continue doing business with them.
