  I came in just to do a return and ended up having the best experience ever thanks to Jay! or “J” She was seriously so kind, patient, and helpful, and took the time to go through every color and size with me to help me find exactly what I wanted. On top of that, she took the time to go in the back and look for the few pairs of jeans I wanted. I really appreciate the extra effort! She even matched everything so I didn’t have to pay anything extra (which I didn’t even know they did) such a nice surprise! Jay made the whole process so easy, stress free, and enjoyable. Truly, she is AMAZING at customer service and such a sweet person. She deserves all the praise!

  Very frustrating and embarrassing experience today. I visited this American Eagle Outfitters location with my family. As soon as we entered, the door alarm went off, so it was clearly malfunctioning. We purchased two perfumes, received our receipts, and left the store. When we exited, the alarm went off again. We paused for a few seconds to see if any staff member wanted to check, but no one came. After we had already walked a good distance away, a staff member ran after us and searched our shopping bags as if we had stolen something. This happened in public and was extremely embarrassing, especially in front of my family. Because of how uncomfortable and disrespected we felt, I went back into the store immediately and returned the perfumes. No one apologized. Instead, the same employee questioned whether there was something wrong with the perfumes. When I explained that I was returning them due to her behavior, she reacted rudely, smirked, and walked away. This was unprofessional, disrespectful, and completely unacceptable customer service. Based on this experience and similar feedback from other reviewers, I will not be shopping at this location again.

  Whatever white shift lead was there tonight very rude and unprofessional. In ordered 2 pairs of jeans for pick up and they left the security tags on . I went back tonight to return them & whoever the new cashier was and the shift lead pretty much told me I stole the jeans and that it was my fault the tags got left on. I won’t ever shop at this location again !!!!

  My daughter & I had the absolute BEST experience this evening! Lindsay, Erica & Nicole (forgive my spelling if incorrect for any names) were PHENOMENAL! They were genuinely kind, patient, and helpful! It was some of the best customer service we have received in a very long time. It felt like we were shopping with old friends. They made great recommendations and stopped what they were doing to help find our sizes. Truly appreciate these ladies- they really made our day! :)
