I was helped by a lady named Jeanette Austin, who explicitly told me it would NOT be a hard credit inquiry. Based on that information, I agreed to proceed. Afterward, I found out it was in fact a hard pull on my credit, which negatively affected my score. I would not have agreed if I was given accurate information. Customers deserve transparency when it comes to their credit. This experience felt misleading and avoidable, and I’m very frustrated by the lack of accountability after the fact.

Also, the scanning function on your Belk app is not going to be the correct price most often because they have a lot of clearance at this location. Everyone there is extremely friendly. Make sure you go there with time to spend because there is a lot of stuff to go through.
