My experience at sunglass hut was amazing. The gentlemen named Jad recommended me a few great pairs, was very sweet and helpful. 10/10 would shop here again.

I hope this makes its way to the right folks who can give this rep his flowers. I walked into the Mosaic District (Fairfax, VA) location to inquire about having a pair of sunglasses adjusted with the heating tool and learned this service was not yet available at this location but coming soon in a number of days/weeks. However, Tyler thoroughly explained options of seeking support at other local branches and did not “hound me” to purchase something in place of what I already owed coming in (albeit old..). His demeanor was incredibly friendly and warm — he is absolutely passionate about PEOPLE. His work? Sure. But he is clearly all about making connections with people — humans who “need” sunglasses, not dollar signs above a person’s head. I had to rush to a dinner reservation around the corner, but shared I hadn’t purchased new sunnies in a long time because I’m always displeased with the shape of my head and the way frames fit (or don’t) on my face. I shared what I liked and what features I was particular about: sepia or light blue toned lenses, brown or tortoise frames, preferably acetate and not metal frames, no nose pads because migraines, wide and round head, no aviators. I was rather particular, no doubt. I tried on ONE pair before running to dinner and loved them but didn’t have time to contemplate the purchase before leaving. I told him I’d be back right after dinner, and he said he’d gather a few extra options for me to consider. I came back to 5-6 options to try and honestly left with two pairs solely because he made the experience so worthwhile. Did not try to push a certain design on me that I didn’t mesh with, but really took my feedback into consideration and helped me find the fit and design I needed. He encouraged me to explore other options but didn’t push me to go outside of my comfort zone if my goal was practicality and getting “the most use” of what I came for (technically nothing). I haven’t had a customer experience like this in a long time honestly. More kudos to Tyler, and I hope Sunglasshut does the right thing and compensates this rep accordingly. He 100% cares about the people behind the sunnies.

I spent almost $1000 here last week and the sales person, Samuel, failed to take down my apartment # for one of the pairs of sunglasses that I ordered. Because of this, it can’t be delivered. So far, I’ve been given the run around by someone subbing in at this store and today the manager of this location (I was told he’d call me last week) had no idea what was going on and agreed to call me back at 4pm with a solution. I’m from a different area so this is extremely frustrating and I will never do business with sunglass hut again and I would recommend just going to the Tyson’s mall. The ppl that work boutique and department stores there understand customer service.
Went in there yesterday and Sam was great! He's very friendly and helpful. Great customer service on his end was able to solve our problem from our experience at the tysons location and we left happy. Definitely recommend asking for Sam!

By far the most helpful sunglass hut I have been into, ever! When you go in ask for Sam. He took his time, answered any and all questions and showed us the differences in styles and sizes. Greatly appreciate all of Sam’s efforts!
