- ASAmy SwabeFeb 28, 20261.0I stopped by 35 minutes before closing one day after work. I had been wanting to stop by the shop, but could never get there within their hours or they were closed early on the days that I went. When I entered the shop, i said “Hello”. I was not greeted, but was rudely told “we close soon.” I said I’m just looking for one piece of fabric to finish a project and so I won’t be long. The staff member proceeded to grill me about what I wanted and insisted on pulling bolt after bolt and presenting them so she could get me out of there faster. If I hadn’t wanted that particular piece of fabric (that I found ) for a special project for my daughter, I would not have purchased it. I wound up spending about $100, but I will not be back. I paid and was out the door about ten minutes before they closed. I am new to the area and was hoping to find a local Quilt store that I could support, but this will not be it. For clarity, this happened December 2025.
