- ETErica ToyMar 7, 20265.0Watch repair: When Jared quoted $20/link for resizing my watch (not purchased at Jared), Andrew Minton Jewelers across the street said “come on in, it’s very likely we can do it for free” and they did just that. Now I’ve found my jeweler in Charlottesville when I need to buy the pricey stuff :) That’s the kind of customer service (for even the small things) that gets folks back in the store for future, bigger purchases. Yay for local; boooo for the big box store. Thanks Sofie!!
- NTNichole ThomasMar 3, 20262.0There is a real communication issue with this jeweler. I took my engagement ring to be resized. I told them a 4 felt the most comfortable but they said the band was thick and a 5 would be better. It took them 2 weeks to resize (I had to call and follow up) and the ring is still too big and hanging off of my finger. I just paid and left because I don’t trust them. I’m going to take it somewhere on the downtown mall and get another opinion and potentially get it downsized again.

Note: the image is of a repair they did on an antique piece of mine, re-setting a tricky small diamond and making the necklace look showroom-new.
- AGAnis GhasempourFeb 17, 20261.0Terrible customer service. I went to this jeweler mid Dec 2025 and spoke with Mr. Andrew. He took my information down and asked me to email him the info as well. Email was sent immediately. After a few weeks, I called and I was told all the information was lost. So I emailed them the info once again. A few more weeks passed and didn’t hear any update. After calling several times, I was able to speak to a person and I was told they don’t have my information after they verified receiving my email from the last time. I emailed them the info once again just to be disappointed. Very poor communication effort on the business owner part. I wasted 1 month of waiting on this jeweler for no reason. I took my business elsewhere and I am more than satisfied with the service.
