  I've visited the Village at Shirlington 3 times, and it's been great each time!! The street is lined w restaurants, coffee shops, novelty shops, etc. Street parking can be a little worrisome, metered parking. There are garages nearby. The streets and sidewalks are always clean. The trees are all well manicured, and the area is very pet friendly. I look forward to more visits to this awesome area.

  Vibrant lovely area within walking distance of the Hilton hotel and apartments. We walked from Martha Custis street over the interstate on a well lit walking/biking bridge. There is street parking but I am not sure if it is paid or free. I will update after more exploration 😁 Wonderful restaurant diversity! Specialty Cookies, ice cream parlor, smoothies, pizza, Tex/mex, American, burgers, Italian, Greek, and seafood. You can choose a counter order and service, casual or elegant dining. Almost all of them offer outdoor seating or dining. Many have bars or serve alcoholic beverages. You can purchase alcoholic beverages and walk around some of the area with them. There is also an AMC theater. It is a family and dog friendly area. Plenty of water bowls out for your furry friend and no loud music that would be inappropriate for kids. We didn’t stay past 9 pm on a Saturday night but what we experienced was a great place for family and friends. I also noted most if not all of the drivers were very cautious and respectful of the walking area. Overall my family and I really enjoyed this area for brunch and dinner!
