If fishing is more your speed, we have all of your tackle to catch the legal limit. Common catches are kokanee, trout, walleye, wiper, crappie, perch, burbot, tiger muskie, smallmouth and largemouth bass. We’re happy to tell you the current conditions at Steinaker Reservoir or Flaming Gorge Reservoir. We also carry plenty of supplies for backpacking, camping, and hiking. Our shop services are available to spool reels, mount and boresight rifle scopes, cut arrows, tune bows in our 8-yard archery lane, and anything covered by your Firearm Service Plan. No matter the weather or time of year, we’ve got the seasonal accessories to fit your outdoor adventure. While you’re in the area, be sure to check out local events like the Dinosaur Roundup PRCA Rodeo, Uintah County Fair, half-marathons, triathlons, and mountain biking events.

- RBRobert BakerSep 24, 20251.0Bought a rifle online and it was in stock at the Vernal store. did the background check... they did not submit it for 3 days. i have to wait 3 days from the day and time it was made. well i went to pick up the rifle and they said i could not pick it up for 3 more days. i had driven 2 hours to pick this rifle up. so, no apology no anything and made it sound like i was at fault for picking it up early. went back the next weekend and finished my paperwork. took way to long. then i went to leave and they said it will be 12.50 i asked what for they said the background check. i said that was not disclosed at time of purchase and does not apply. the manager basically said "oh well" you still have to pay. i will not buy anything from them again. it is sad because i will now have to drive 3 to 4 hours to get reloading supplies. I DO NOT RECOMEND VERNAL Sportsman Warehouse
