  Absolutely hands down the worst scheels I have ever visited in my life. Gun manager (Josh) supersedes FFL requirements and refuses to provide the accessories that come with the firearm. Federal Firearms Licensee (FFL) in Colorado, you are legally permitted to receive "large-capacity magazines" (>15 rounds) by C.R.S. 18-12-302 and the recently enacted SB25-003. When asked for the Scheels policy I was informed “I don’t have to show you that.” Your right. Cancel my transaction I spent 1.5 hours waiting in your store. Bravo….I can only imagine what a customer without a FFL has to do to make a purchases. 10 employees Standing behind the counter making jokes and not helping their customers…. Asked for the gun managers and the FFL compliance employees emails and was told “they don’t have cards.” I will stick to my Colorado Scheels that know how to do business in a professional manner!!!

  Each trip they get closer and closer to losing my business. Their price match guarantee is becoming a price match if we feel like it, our price match with add on fees. I have price matched 3 guns in the last two years. First two, no issues. Not a wholesaler, they have it in stock, etc. My last one, all of a sudden they are tacking on a transfer fee with price match, and their gun manager that was there had a real bad attitude when asked why by myself and another customer. Today I was told by a cashier they don’t price match ammo with shipping fees. Neither of the sites I had were wholesalers, and had the items in stock. It took me requesting a manager and threatening to cancel my Scheels Card to get taken care of. On the other hand, with my Cabela’s card, no only do I get my price match (no wholesalers and in stock), I don’t have to get tacked on fees, and they beat the price match by 5%. I’ve stopped going to Scheels unless it’s an item I can’t get at Cabela’s. Now I’m ready to be done with Scheels in general, and I’ll just wait for those items to ship. I don’t think my Scheels card is going to stay open anymore. So much for Customer Satisfaction guarantees.

  Ordered something from 1 hour away. Should take 1 day. Nope. For 3 days my item has gone from my city to the original location.l and back. Back and forth at the post offices. And after 3 days. I still haven't received it! If course no refund will be issued because they claim it is " in transit" You'll go bankrupt soon. And it will be well deserved.

  I purchased a Kimber 2k11 Comp at the Scheels's Gun Shop last week, and the person who supported me to get the item was Spencer, And today 3/20/2026, I opened the RMR plate adapter for the optic I want to attach to the gun, and found out the adapter was in a very bad condition and can not be used, and Spencer used his time and knowledge to support and mounted the optic for me perfectly, Thank you so much Spencer at Gun Shop for helping me the entire time.

  I had one of the best golf fitting experiences at the Scheels golf department with Ethan Van Koman. After having a bad experience at another fitting business where I felt like I was put into the wrong clubs, this was a huge difference. Ethan truly cared about helping my game and not just pushing bigger brands or trying to make the most money. He took the time to understand what I needed and fit me into the best irons for my swing and overall game. You can tell he really knows his stuff and wants what is best for the golfer. I would highly recommend anyone looking for a golf fitting to go see Ethan at Scheels. Great experience, very knowledgeable, and I left feeling confident that I was finally in the right irons.
