Avoid this store if you are sensitive to strong paint fumes/aerosol fumes ! Its too bad that this store has cute clothes but mediocre customer service. Not sure if this store hires a lot of Gen Z staff where aerie is their first job or they are understaffed? Most of the associates dont look at you or acknowledge you. I walked in wanting to look for clearance shorts etc. for my sisters bday. When i saw that 1/3 of the store was draped in plastic and the paint fumes starting to give me a headache, i asked a sales agent with black hair if 1/3 of the store will be closed for the rest of the day. She glared at me and snapped "until further notice". I walked out with another customer who said she worked for aerie in the mid 2000s and said she finds it hard to believe that 1/3 of the store is closed off indefinetly. There is a sales agent who has blonde hair that authentically says "have a good day" she embodies good customer service!

The girls working were quiet, didn’t say anything other than hi when I walked in and there was an INCREDIBLY strong smell of paint. The only sign they had up was one saying that the fitting room was closed. Other than that there was nothing indicating that they were painting where that you couldn’t shop an entire third of the store, including their bra section, which for me was the only reason that I came in. Very disappointing and frustrating.

I want to sincerely thank Thalia and Emma at Aerie for delivering truly outstanding customer service—something that’s becoming all too rare in retail today.
Both went above and beyond to make sure I felt supported and taken care of. They were not only kind and professional, but also incredibly attentive and thoughtful throughout the entire experience. It was clear they genuinely cared, and that made all the difference.
Thalia and Emma, thank you for making my visit to Aerie such a positive one. You both represent the gold standard of what great service looks like. Aerie is lucky to have you!
