- NNNikkiOct 25, 20251.0I used to love American Eagle but don’t think I will shop here anymore. The service is terrible both in store and calling their customer service. I was hung up on by both. I went into the South Towne location looking for pants. I found some I loved but needed a different size that they didn’t have in store (long inseam). I ordered my pants for a Halloween costume but when they arrived they were the wrong color. After calling and trying to resolve the issue, they never took accountability for their mistake instead kept insinuating that I ordered the wrong pants even though I took it to the counter to order the correct size and have them shipped. When I tried to explain my situation and needing the pants sooner rather than later, they informed me I would have to pay to expedite the shipping. The least thing AE could do is cover shipping plus expediting for the inconvenience and to attempt to resolve their mistake. Very poor customer service.

Even one of the employees was confused. When I got to checkout I had no idea what to expect and got very snotty help from the manager working. I really love the clothes but won't be returning to that location. What a joke!
