It's nice, has a big selection. I felt like a few items were a bit expensive. But other than that great people here as well!

Wow! I’ve been shopping at the various DI locations for years now, and it seems like each visit gets worse, both in pricing and quality; as well as customer service. I was just at this location, and the pricing has gotten absurd. Sadly they still don’t pay their associates much at all (about $10/hr) and they don’t give them paid holidays when they’re closed. $100 for a nearly 20 year old TV, and here I thought the purpose of DI was to serve the low income residents, but I guess they’ve decided that selling to resellers takes priority. Half the kitchen countertop appliances are filthy, and they want upwards of $40 for them, and never mind that every item they sell was donated to them so it’s total profit minus overhead. Then at checkout not only was Katia was very rude she was training someone on the register, and neither one was speaking English requiring me to ask 3 different times what the price was. She even tried to charge me more than what was on the price tag. Which big surprise looking at another review she’s apparently been doing this for some time. This will likely be the last time I shop at DI since apparently a low income individual like myself is no longer the target customer. If I’m going to pay these kinds of prices I might as well shop at at Savers where the quality of goods is better, and the employees are more polite. Deseret Industries you’re not the only game in town anymore, and being a member of the church isn’t enough to maintain my loyalty. Here’s pick of one of the TVs they’re asking $100 for. There was another smaller old TV that they wanted $95 for, these are pawn shop prices where they at least had to pay something for them, and you can by a brand new TV for $20 more(snap shot of one from Walmart included..

Got a tour of this non-profit. It was absolutely incredible what they do in the community. We'll continue to support and buy clothes and items here to make sure they can keep operating in the future.

A cashier named Katia, tried to charge me more for a bag when it was priced at $2.. One of the bags the price was ripped off and the other bag said $2 they are small child size bags... I asked her to ask the other gentleman that was a cashier as well and he said that they were $2 EACH!!!!.. WHY IS SHE CHARGING MORE?????? . I'm assuming she does this frequently because there's another review here about her!!!.... Who's ever in charge needs to look into that because that's not right!!!.. AND NOBODY BETTER SAY THAT THERE WAS A LANGUAGE BARRIER.... SHE KNEW WHAT SHE WAS DOING!!!!!
