- AIA IMar 16, 20251.0Today, I went to the shop with my 3 yo. As soon as we walked in, the associate saw us and gave me a look—like she was judging me for bringing a child into the store. I noticed her expression right away and said, “We’re just exploring.” I was really hoping to buy some nice glasses that I’ve been wanting for a long time. My toddler started touching a couple of them, and as soon as I saw the associate watching, I told my girl, “Don’t touch them, please.” The associate immediately grabbed a wipe and started cleaning what my daughter touched, making it clear through her actions that we weren’t welcome. I quickly took my toddler outside and said, “Thank you.” She didn’t even reply. Please teach your associates basic customer service.
