Opened in 1986, the Sportsman’s Warehouse in Midvale, UT is our first location. National gunsmithing services are now available. We now buy & sell used guns! If you like Rocky Mountain elk, mule deer, pronghorn antelope, or waterfowl hunting, we’re here to get you all set up with ammo and everything you need. If fishing is more your speed, we have all of your tackle to catch the bass (largemouth and smallmouth) or trout (rainbow, cutthroat, brown, brook, lake) that you’re after, and we can point you toward the hotspots. We also carry plenty of supplies for hiking, camping, boating, and kayaking. Our shop services are available to spool reels, mount, and boresight rifle scopes, cut arrows, tune bows in our 6-yard archery lane, and anything covered by your Firearm Service Plan. Whether it’s a cold, snowy winter or 110-degree summer day, we’ve got the seasonal accessories to fit your outdoor adventure. While you’re in the area, be sure to check out local attractions like the numerous world-class ski resorts, National Monuments, and 1.1 million acres of Wilderness Area.

- KCKatelyn Cox3 days ago1.0Really bummed tonight! I called ahead to ask about the shockwave and see if it was available, and said I’d be right over. I stood at the counter while they helped everyone - people who even showed up after me. I guess tax season makes this time of year busier, and maybe they were scared with only twenty minutes left of legal sales, but I have a FFL number and my checks come back as fast as the site refreshes, so if they mentioned timing as an issue I could have reassured them the Sportsman’s in Saratoga did a full sale in fifteen minutes. Anyways, the girl at the front was very nice and understood why I had to rush to another store and had to leave all the targets, ammo and clothes I planned on purchasing - but I’d rather give another store my money.

I asked one of the knowledgeable staff behind the gun counter a question about an AR-15 . His answer was incorrect after I explained the situation clearly. I pointed out proper use of the trigger finger guard on the AR-15. I think I probably pissed him off because I got a cold shoulder and the feeling that "go away from me, you bother me, I have other customers to attend to. " Given the customer service, and the minimal breadth of product offerings, I see no reason to shop there. Cabela's, even though it is quite a bit farther from me, has much better customer service and a better selection.
