I’ve always liked this Deseret Industries. It’s clean, well organized, and easy to browse, and I’ve found some great items here over the years. It’s one of those places you can pop into regularly and still come away with a good find.
I do wish the hours were longer like they were pre-COVID—I used to come in a lot more when they stayed open later. Prices have also gone up compared to what they used to be, which has changed how often I shop here.
That said, the store is still well run, the staff is friendly, and it continues to be a solid place to shop and donate. Overall a good experience, just a bit different than it used to be. Still happy to support it.

I love shopping at this store. I go there all the time with my mom. We have fun times finding things we can’t really find anywhere else but when it comes to the employees at this store I believe the manager should really see how their employees talk to customers. Mary should really think before she talks. I was talking very polite and nice to her and she was treating me like I was wasting her time. And this isn’t the first time an employee has been very rude. Again I love this store and I obviously don’t say anything back because I would like to come back but something seriously needs to change when hiring employees.

I enjoy browsing here and staff are pretty nice. I do wonder where is your jewelry section?? Surely you gets lots of jewelry donations, every other thrift store I've ever gone to has an extensive jewelry selection. So what do you do with it?? I find it strange that these items are not on the floor.

I used to come here all the time! I loved it and have spent hundreds of dollars here. Unfortunately the prices have soared in the last few months and the culture is just not what I expect from a non-profit church-owned thrift store. The lowest price I’ve found for new items is $2! That’s insane! And it was a 2” tall cow trinket! I’m ashamed to have this thrift store associated with my church as it seems they have forgotten the purpose of Deseret Industries Thrift. I will be seeking contact with the store manager, Jeremy, and possibly escalating this issue to church authorities as I have been ridiculed by a supervisor here in the past. (I was apologized to, but only by a different supervisor and only because I knew her personally.)
