Had a awful experience in the marine department. Tried to buy 2 boat seats. Only for Rob the manager and another employee to discuss what seat it was, since they couldn't find it in there system. They decided it was the the marked price of $89.99 wasn't right and it was $219.99. Even tho they weren't sure what the seat was... very frustrating. Think its time to switch to Sportsmans Warehouse.

We were helped by Brian while in guns and amo- he was super helpful and genuine. Helped us get the best price on what we needed by price matching another store. Really felt he loved helping others and went above and beyond.

No customer service
I mean real people
Over 20 minutes waiting no salesman in sight.
"Just enter all your info in the kiosk and someone will be with you when it's your turn"
How about one of the 5 guys walking around stocking shelves and visiting come help.
I don't want to buy from a machine
I want a knowledgeable salesperson to talk to me about purchasing
Guess we'll take our business elsewhere!

Leaving a one star (since half a star isn’t an option).
Stopped by Cabela’s Lehi to grab a couple camp chairs. The only price posted in the entire bin clearly showed a photo and price for the style we thought we were buying. We looked all around to make sure there weren’t other signs (because apparently that’s necessary now). There weren’t. We even took a photo so we wouldn’t get the classic “that’s not the right one” line.
Spoiler: that’s exactly what happened.
At the register, they had to do a price check and admitted the sign placement was misleading and there were no other markings. So they knew it was confusing. The posted price was around $50 per chair. The actual price? $80. For chairs sitting in the same bin with no clear distinction.
And the grand solution? 5% off. Thank you, Candace, for the 5% discount it was truly a game changer.
It’s not the customer’s job to play detective and decode your pricing system.
Cabela’s usually has a solid reputation and a good store atmosphere, but this trip was sloppy and frustrating. If you’re going to charge premium prices, at least put premium effort into basic signage.
Do better, Cabela’s Lehi.

I used to enjoy coming here. It's been a while since I've been, and I personally feel it has gone downhill.
Upon arrival, you are greeted by someone attempting to sell you a membership. Despite your clear indication that you are not interested, they persist in their approach.
Then you're being approached by a salesperson from Hilton offering a timeshare, and they seem to follow you around.
We were looking forward to trying a bison burger while we were there, but we were disappointed to learn that the restaurant was no longer open. I could understand why, as the place was quite empty.
