I appreciate the people who work there and the good the organization does in the community. That said, I do wish the prices were a bit more reasonable. It can feel high considering the resources behind the organization.

Just so you know if you don’t want people to go from the entrance straight to the men’s sections you need to put signs or rope directing people to walk all the way around. I was walking to the men’s section on opening day (no direction signs or anything) when I was very aggressively grabbed and pulled back by an older man employee telling me I had to walk all the way around. You NEVER put your hands on a customer, you’re lucky I don’t press charges for assault on a minor and if I ever experience this again at this store you better have a good lawyer.

Normally I have a great experience here. I’ve come here a couple times a month for the last 8 years and have spent thousands of dollars here. They’ve been closed for a remodel and just opened yesterday. I was here yesterday and bought $40 worth of stuff. Came back today with my husband and got a full cart of stuff. At the end, like I always do, I went to the couch section to go through my cart and decide if I was putting anything back or keeping it all. I’ve done this every time for 8 years. I was there for about ten minutes and I kept sitting down and then getting up again because I’m three months pregnant and I get tired easily. I was almost done going through the cart when a manager came up to me and rudely told me that management wanted me to keep moving in case someone wanted to look at the couch I was using. I told him I was trying to go through my cart and that if he expected me to spend $100 dollars I needed space to do it. I asked him where I was supposed to go through it then and he shrugged and just repeated that we needed to keep moving. It really pissed me off. I’ve never been treated that way in all the years that I’ve been spending money at this store. This was an upper management person too, who should know better about interacting with customers that spend thousands of dollars at their store. I was very tempted to just walk away from my cart and not give them any more of my hard earned money. It’s insulting especially when there were other people in the couch section sitting down and not even doing anything and he said nothing to them. I doubt he would have said anything to me if I looked like a good Mormon mom with six kids in tow but because I was in leggings I’m obviously not a good Mormon. Not only did it make me angry but it made me cry. TREAT YOUR CUSTOMERS WITH RESPECT IF YOU WANT THEIR MONEY! Absolutely ridiculous and insulting.
