  My 13 year old was doing a consignment to Plato's for the first time on her own. She was sent in with all the necessary info and used the kiosk to log her items to sell. Unfortunately, she wasn't aware that she needed to print a receipt or tag for her bag of items and walked out without completing the process. Needless to say, she left her bag on the counter and left the store. After 3 days, I called because we hadn't been notified that her bag was processed and I wanted to see where we were in line. Shawn (manager) informed me that they didn't have a record of the consignment and that my daughter hadn't done her part correctly. I was ready to cut our losses, but Shawn took the time to track down the specifics of the incident and make sure that the mistake was rectified. Sadly, our items, because they weren't properly tagged, were donated at the end of the day and hadn't been processed so we could be paid. Shawn could've just told us we didn't do our part, but she was willing to go above and beyond and offer store credit or cash for an estimated amount. We were so pleased with her willingness to work with us. Shawn was pleasant to deal with and helped my daughter understand her mistake and still gave her compensation for her lost items. We will forever be Plato's Closet patrons in Cheyenne because of Shawn's helpfulness, kindness and willingness to have a teachable moment with my daughter. Thank you, Shawn!

  Worst experience ever. I had great clothes that was in outstanding condition, many brand names and style shirts/pants, some of which even had tags on. And the girls? Acted as if they were doing me a favor…. Plz..!!

  Total waste of time & stereotyped me. Took in tub of clothes for my daughter (size 3), never worn with tags, & they didn’t even look through them. (I was watching). When I asked how much longer it would be, the manager told me they couldn’t take anything because “it was a store for younger people.” Had she looked, she would have seen! Rude & demeaning.

  Do not sell your clothes here. I’m not the type to write reviews but I’ve never experienced such terrible customer experience. The girls working are always so rude, even when you try to be nice to them. They are always so judgy and won’t take good quality branded clothes.

  Do not sell your clothes here, the girls working are so rude. Tried to sell my clothes and I had good brands like nike, american eagle , gymshark. Walking in the girls working don’t greet you and just side eye you. Leaving the store, they started laughing, not sure why? Once my clothes was ready they only took the good brands and wanted to sell it to me for not even half the price of what I paid originally. If you’re going to sell clothes here, be sure to avoid the girl with green hair and the other heavier one because they’ll just laugh at you.
