  They’ve always accepted my items from a donation standpoint. However, their prices are a bit ridiculous. An old batman tshirt should not be $8, maybe $4 at most. It’s more for people who could afford the items new anyway, considering their prices are near market on some items, ESPECIALLY THE SHOES.

  My mother took my daughter for some school clothes. Experience no welcoming behavior from employees. Rude attitude. They seemed to hate their jobs.

  I’ve been a customer for about a decade at this point and have watched the unfortunate transformation of Plato’s marketing as an eco-friendly alternative to a drop-shipping paradise. It used to be a great buy/sell thrift store, now it’s a temu warehouse with AI slop right as you walk in and on the dressing room doors. There is no longer any point in you all marketing yourselves as good for the environment when every “shiny new” thing you add is just more useless junk to end up in a landfill. There is more attention at this point being put toward the slop and cheap knickknacks in the store than what the store is there for in the first place. Giving 2 stars instead of 1 because the employees have always been nice to me and they don’t deserve to be docked for their performance just because the company wants them to waste their time tagging shein and temu junk (that once again goes against the whole point of the company). I think this is my last try at buying from here. I’ve always been a Plato’s defender but there’s not anything worth defending anymore.

  Four out of six shirts then my daughter and I chose to try on had rips under the arms and on the sides I showed the employees and they were just like oh my goodness took them from me and put them back on like I said are you putting those back on the rack?? And they ignored me so sorry to who ever about those shirts.... The EMPLOYEES KNEW THEY HAD RIPS. no fixable rips. I'm not exaggerating.
