  There was a guy at the rear of the store who stopped us trying to sell us a timeshare through Hilton Hotels. We are simple anti socialist people and kept saying no but he was pushy to the point that we won't go to that store again.

  It’s been a while since we visited a Bass Pro Shop. But we’ve been doing a fair amount of camping lately, so we swung in to see if there was anything new we might want to try out for gear. Store was clean, which is always appreciated. But prices on everything, even clearance items, seemed much higher than I’d have expected. Checking out a table of men’s shorts, about half were marked clearance and half weren’t, even though they were all the same brand and style. Was accosted by one employee who appeared to be selling timeshares and wouldn’t take no for an answer. Not really what I’d have expected to experience at Bass Pro Shop, but like I said, it’s been a while since we were here. So maybe that’s the new thing, I don’t know. Either way, the dude was rude enough to guarantee we won’t be back anytime soon.

  selection of fishing stuff was good for but there was one simple thing that rubbed me the wrong way. Full cart and walking through the store and I get stopped by some workers trying to sell me a stupid time share presentation. I’m clearly not interested and making that pretty known without straight up walking away. I’m over it. I have no clue why your associates/company feel the need to harass paying customers into a dumb hilton scam. Super annoying and trashy. Probably won’t be back for this reason. Quite frankly just a poor business practice.

  I would like to say, customer service is alive and well here at Bass Pro Shops in Sun Prairie and her name is Linda. Linda was outstanding and went above and beyond normal customer service. She assisted me in obtain a product in camping which had been priced incorrectly and she went above and beyond what employees usually do! I have been in sales and dealing with customers for over 50 years, and it is genuinely awesome to experience this type of service! Kudos to Linda! From Kenn Bumpke, Sun Prairie, Wisconsin.

  In-Store Pickup on 6/25/2026. Made an online order for in store pickup for two of the same fishing poles. Only one was picked with the other one saying it wasn't available. Went to the store, found the other pole on the shelf that they said wasn't there. The lady at the in store pickup counter had a huge attitude when I asked if the order could be fulfilled with the second pole since I was able to find it on the shelf. She was extremely snarky and told me "That's not my job, take it up to customer service". It was a younger lady with dark hair. I went to the customer service desk and asked the same question and they said no because that would leave them with none in stock. Pretty sure this was a lie, because I've never seen a store refuse to sell a product because it was the last one in stock. After trying to get the second pole I ordered for 30 minutes, I gave up and canceled the order. That was my first time shopping there, and my last time. Horrible customer service. Horrible employees who treat their customers like crap. To top it all off, while I'm dealing with pissed off employees, I have some bozo trying to sell me some vacation package like I'm at a resort. WORST SHOPPING EXPERIENCE EVER. Don't bother going here if you even THINK you might have to talk to an employee. Just ridiculous.
