  I would avoid this Maurice’s location—the vibe at the Plover store is completely unwelcoming and cold. I have visited this specific location a few times now, and the experience is always the same. I am never greeted when I walk in, no one mentions the daily deals, and I am completely ignored the entire time I am shopping. The sales associates do not offer to help customers who clearly have their hands full of clothes; I even had to start my own fitting room. Management and staff here seem totally checked out, and it is obvious no one enjoys working at this store. This location desperately needs new leadership, from the store manager, first assistant manager, assistant managers down to the sales associates. Needless to say, I will not be returning to this spot and will stick to shopping at the Maurice’s stores in Wisconsin Rapids or Wausau instead.

  I went in looking for some jeans one day. I didn’t really ask for help but I didn’t know what I needed. I was excited to go, as I had gone with my mom in WA state and they helped us find the perfect fit! No one seemed eager to help me in any way. I wasn’t sure of my size because I recently lost quite a bit of weight. The vibe was off, and it was as if they couldn’t be bothered to help me. I had to fend for myself lol. I ended up buying a pair that I thought fit, but when I got them home I realized they were too big as well as was the shirt I bought. I’m not great at shopping. I went back in to return them, and asked when they normally received their shipment of jeans as I needed a smaller size. She told me they really didn’t have a day, so I told her I would check back. I left feeling uncomfortable both times I was in there. I don’t ever leave reviews, but I actually think about those interactions all the time. I’m in customer service as well. I work at Aldi and we pride ourselves on it. I would never want to make a customer feel uncomfortable in my store. The only time they will see my back is if I decide to return the necklace I bought.

  Went to the plover Wisconsin store no associate even greeted us we carried around the clothing we wanted to try on trying to find workers we had to go and ask even for a dressing room while the workers were just standing around

  I was greeted as I walked in by a very nice employee I was looking for a top in a specific color. She located several which she thought might work with out me even asking She was very helpful and friendly.
