This shopping experience was a mixed bag, literally and figuratively. First, kudos. The store was organized, nicely stocked, staffers offered assistance, and dressing rooms were adequate. Second, I do not enjoy plastic clothes. These have very little to no detailing at the cuffs, less modest necklines, or tails so curvaceous fuller figures are tedious to fit in coordination with bottoms and barrel tops that also cannot be washed and dryed normally. Then these items are sold at prices that suggest higher quality. Third, it may be the fact that these garments are very, very wrinkled that allows and, or encourages staffers to handle them as more than already wrinkled beyond belief so it doesn't matter how they're folded or that they're not folded with care. This makes it nearly impossible to wear any outfit out of the store. Lane Bryant, please stand up to and out from the growing competition!?!
My final note, sadly, during the bagging portion of the sale, an item fell into a drawer. The only options to fix the error were to return for the item or a credit would go to my card. This is after I shopped to coordinate outfits until near complete exhaustion with visibly reduced ability to continue standing as the store closed. People are just people and mistakes happen, but gratitude for patronage happens too, or not.
