  I have never felt so humiliated and disrespected at a store as I did today. I have purchased clothes from this store before, and my experiences have generally been fine. After today, however, I will never be coming back. When I first entered the store, it took approximately 10–15 minutes before anyone acknowledged me. Eventually, an employee helped me select a shirt, and I really liked it and intended to purchase it. When we moved on to pants, the employee measured me. I decided to go with a slightly smaller size based on where I intended to wear the pants. The measurement had been taken over the clothes I was already wearing. When I reconsidered and decided to go up a size, the employee responded, in front of other customers, “Oh, you mean back to the size I told you in the first place?” The comment may have seemed insignificant to him, but the way it was said made me feel embarrassed and as though I had somehow offended or inconvenienced him. I was already uncomfortable enough trying to figure out the right size without having my decision called out in front of other customers. Unfortunately, the store did not have the size I ultimately wanted, but I was completely willing to order the pants. The employee then helped me select a tie, but after that, the customer service I had been receiving essentially stopped. His attention shifted almost entirely to another group of customers. I was seriously considering purchasing a jacket or vest as well, but I didn’t want to interrupt what appeared to be a much more enjoyable interaction he was having with the other group. So I gathered the items I had selected and went to the counter to pay. I stood there for what felt like five minutes waiting to be helped. Eventually, the employee came over with the other group and asked, “Oh, you’re ready to pay?” He then told me, “I’m just gonna help these guys first.” At that point, I had had enough. I left the store without purchasing anything. I understand that employees have to assist multiple customers, and I don’t expect to receive special treatment. I do, however, expect to be treated with basic courtesy and respect. I came into the store intending to make a purchase and was seriously considering purchasing several items. Instead, I left feeling embarrassed, ignored, and disrespected. No customer should leave a store feeling the way I did today.

  The gentleman that helped us was excellent. He was very helpful with sizes on sport jackets and pants.

  The tee shirts are very true to size and fit. Though the long sleeve tee shirt fits well the sleeve cuff is very loose fitting
