  When I went to the store, I asked to see some sunglasses. I asked the lady who handed me the sunglasses and walked away to continue talking on the phone through her Bluetooth. I went again on Sunday to purchase a pair of glasses where she told me to put my rewards number, I put my number various times. She seemed frustrated and that’s when she told me with an unpleasant attitude that it had to be a Macy’s account and not a sunglasses hut account.

  I went in to this store Sunday morning. Every time I go to a sunglasses hut I never leave without spending a minimum of 800 to 1000 dollars. I arrived at the counter, within 2 minutes I picked out two pair of designer glasses I was ready to purchase. There was no one at the counter or in the vicinity of the store. I asked the girls that work the perfume/cologne counter across the way if someone could help me. They said Sunglasses hut is a separate store and they didn’t know where the salesperson went. I waited 15 minutes, while I waited I asked if there was somehow they could page the missing employee or text them to let them know a customer wanted to make a purchase. The girls wanted to help but did not have the info they needed to contact this person. I waited now a total of 20 minutes and then left. After I got back to my car and left the parking lot I called the store, and finally someone answered. I asked if this was the employee that was working the stand that day and when they confirmed they were I let them know they lost an easy 1000 dollar sale. There reply was “I went to lunch, am I not supposed to have lunch” and then hung up on me. Of course I expect an employee to have lunch, but if your job is to represent a company and to make sales for the company should you not have a means for a customer or a neighboring sales person to contact you to let you know there is a customer in need, as opposed to just abandoning your position. On top of that to talk to a customer rudely and then hang up on them as opposed to trying to win the customer back with apology and proper customer service. If this was my employee they would be looking for another job because they clearly don’t have the business best interest at heart. Sad to say it is more the norm these days.

  This location has been very helpful at providing me what fit works best for my face and explaining all the coverage options on the glasses as well as excellent patience on letting me try on multiple pairs to see what’s best. Wonderful overall

  Tried shopping there on Sunday February 25th at 1pm. Not a person to be found. Waited around to try to buy a pair of Oakley Holbrook. No one showed up. Made my purchase at the Buckle. Poor way to run a business. Emailed the company with no response. Says a ton about how they feel about the customer.
