  Best experience ever!!! Tuesday morning I stopped into Scheels in Eau Claire to look at e-bikes. I had been thinking of getting one for awhile but the entire process was feeling a bit overwhelming. I was looking at the different bikes and Sebastian came up and asked if I had questions and needed help. He was so patient, took everything slowly, and answered all my questions. His kindness and excitement while helping me test the e-bike in the parking lot sold me on purchasing it!! Thank you so much for giving me the confidence to take it for a spin, being so helpful and just being awesome at what you do!! After loading it, he even gave this lady a huge hug before I drove off!!   My husband and I came in the other day and we had the experience of meeting Ed, who from my understanding is a manager here at Scheels. We overheard him in an aisle talking in a very sexist manner about other employees. Stating that the company should be male ran only, and that women do not have the capacity to be working hard and are not useful to scheels. As a woman I of course found this very offensive. Everywhere I saw a female employee, they always were working hard and were very kind to both me and my husband, rather than just one gender. I’m not sure if this man is stuck in his ways or just has no morality towards women but out of everyone that was working there, he seems to be the odd one out of the very welcoming and kind Scheels environment that you would expect. Very disappointed.

  Scheels is a Great Place to shop for that someone who thinks they have everything. Why I shop there when I'm in town is because they have what I need.

  I love Scheels. Whether you are an avid fisherperson or an aspiring golfer they have a great selection of things to support your interests. I was in looking at new putters and the gentleman that was working that area seemed very knowledgeable and helpful without being pushy. So like I said the store is great, the staff is friendly and helpful, but the prices are average. You gotta at least stop in for a look! The only negative that I have has nothing to do with the store or staff. People don't watch their kids anymore, while I was the trying to try putters there were 3 or 4, 10 to 12 year old kids smacking golf balls around on the putting green with $500 to $700 hundred dollar putters with no regard for others or the equipment. People watch your kids please.
