- MMMApr 21, 20263.0Furst tume customer. There was a situation where a supervisor and how she handled my exact situation cost this location future business from my wallet. The older cashier knew flexibility could be given to me as it wasnt my fault. She was kind and professional. She knew this could be handled favorably but needed her supervisors sign off. The supervisor as if she was in a drive thru said one sentence rejected this option and then went on to literally in front of me socialize with a coworker not about work related issues. She was half the age even more of the kind older employee attempting to help me and was embarrassed by her supervisors actions. I was also embarrassed for her because she was doing the right thing. I only gave this 3 stars because the older cashier main level immediately when you walk in the doors on the west side should be the supervisor, not the one that is supervisor. This is like this everywhere you go. The ones in mgmt should never have any position in mgmt or anywhere near that decision making power let alone be working in customer service at all anywhere including this JC Penney! I left disappointed, pissed and sad. I will never be spending my money here again and to the nice older cashier you should be paying her at a minimum DOUBLE not only because she deserves it and is factually underpaid but because she has to deal with that vile appalling younger female supervisor. Wow, just WOW!
