  Walked in and greeted immediately with a smile. Awesome. I’m a guest, not just a human. Large selection of every product. Well staffed to answer all questions I had. Helped me look for products. I couldn’t find a specific fishing line. However, they reassured me I wasn’t blind, they don’t carry it. Found the yeti section. Whoa! There is a lot. Spent an hour in about 6 isles. Might have to make a day out of it. Super clean restrooms. Taking pride in your work is what they do. Well worth the hour drive.

  I live in Florida and with Lucas’s help was able to track down and order a rifle I’ve been searching high and low for. He was super helpful and made the whole process smooth and effortless. Lisa was also able to provide me with my tracking number. I know I’m not local but I sure wish this store was local to me. Thank you!

  I can't say enough good things about my experience with Clint B. at Scheels in Appleton. I stopped in with my family while they were shopping and, as a golfer, naturally found myself drifting toward the golf section. I had just finished a round of golf and was curious about a specific line of irons to see how they compared to my current set. Even though I didn't have an appointment, Clint went above and beyond by taking me into the hitting bay and giving me a complete iron fitting. Clint's knowledge of the different iron brands was incredibly impressive, but what stood out even more was how well he listened. He took the time to understand where my game is today and recommended several iron and shaft combinations that fit my swing and goals. At no point did I feel rushed or pressured—he genuinely wanted to help me find the best fit. On top of that, Clint was friendly, personable, and easy to talk to. As a fellow golfer, we could have talked golf all day. If you're considering new clubs or even just want to learn more about your equipment, I highly recommend scheduling a fitting with Clint B. at Scheels in Appleton. The level of service and expertise he provided was exceptional. Thank you, Clint, for making it such a great experience!

  I needed a special shirt for my sister, so I called this store hoping someone could help. A nice Manager named Taylor answered the phone, found the shirt in no time, and Isabel handled my phone order and shipped it all the way to Texas!! Taylor and Isabel made such a great impression with their kindness and genuine care. They turned what could have been a stressful search into an easy and enjoyable experience. I'm a Scheels fan for life, and Scheels is lucky to have team members like Taylor and Isabel. Thanks for going above and beyond!

  Tony (don't know last name) at the customer service desk at the Appleton store is incredbly knowledgeble, empathetic, and fast on the actionable items. I had driven to Appleton (1.5 hour drive) with a raffle ticket winner card from the Tomorrow River Sportsmen's raffle and had left the actual gift card at home (thought I only needed the ticket stub). Tony gave me the name and number of the Tomorrow River officer in charge and between the two of these people, got the credit re-issued and was able to accomplish the purchase of a new Leupold rifle scope right then and there - no additional 3 hours of driving back and forth to accomplish the need. Kudos for having such helpful people at Customer Service - they do care!
