  There was absolutely no one around to ask a question. I went up to the checkout to ask, but there were 10 people in line and only one checkout. This is bad business.

  Great deals, the staff are over stressed, they never have enough people, that said they are helpful and are clearly doing their jobs we'll just need more help when it gets busy.

  Our group travelled from Canada, and our experience at JCPenney was made truly unforgettable because of Sonya. From the moment we met her, Sonya demonstrated a level of warmth, professionalism, patience, and genuine care that is becoming increasingly rare. We arrived quite late, and although the store had already closed, she graciously stayed an additional 20 minutes to assist us. At no point did she make us feel rushed or as though we were inconveniencing her. Quite the opposite she continued to welcome us with the same grace and enthusiasm as though we had arrived at the beginning of the day. Sonya took her time with our entire group, carefully showing us an incredible selection of beautiful pieces and offering thoughtful guidance along the way. She was attentive to each of us, incredibly knowledgeable, and genuinely invested in making sure everyone had a wonderful experience! We ended up purchasing a whole emerald set (necklace, ring, earrings, bracelet) , a tennis bracelet and 5 cute sets (earrings and necklace). What stood out most was that her kindness felt completely authentic. She wasn't simply providing customer service — she created an experience that felt personal, thoughtful, and truly elevated. For a group visiting from Canada, that level of hospitality made such a lasting impression on all of us. In shopping experiences, the little things matter: being welcomed warmly, having someone take the time to understand what you're looking for, never feeling rushed, and leaving feeling genuinely valued. Sonya delivered every one of those things and more. We are incredibly grateful for the time she gave us, especially after closing. Her generosity, patience, and attention to detail did not go unnoticed. Sonya is an absolute gem and a true asset to JCPenney. Employees like her are what transform an ordinary shopping visit into an exceptional experience that people remember long after they leave. Thank you, Sonya, for going above and beyond for our group and for making our visit from Canada so special.   Air conditioner hasn't worked in months. Never see anyone working there. The store seems like a discount liquidators store. Has a weird smell on it too. They have a loud fan at the entrance blowing the mall air into the building. This store needs a lot of work.
