- SSStellaApr 1, 20261.0I’ve been shopping at this JCPenney for over 15 years, and I've never had a problem with the customer service until now! There was a 30-minute wait at both check-out counters. I understand that afternoons can get busy with shopping; however, what frustrated me the most was that the sales associate did not know how to process my return and told me to go to the back of the checkout counter to ask the other sales associate to look it up. I had stated that I had already waited 30 minutes there and had to come to the front check-out line instead. But she said there was nothing she could do to help. It was beyond frustrating that there was no courtesy or respect from the sales associate, given the time wasted by the service here. It took me almost an hour just to return a single item, due to the wait time and the staff's lack of knowledge. It was a disappointing experience. If you want people to keep shopping here, there needs to be better staff training on how to treat customers.
