All employees including the creepy manager are rude and have zero people skills/customer service skills. I typically like going to this location because they have what I like but I dread having to interact with any of these people. Do better.

After reading all the comments/reviews is so sad that we all have the some issue/concern about the manager Ryan. I love American Eagle clothes and sometimes I purchase online because it can be easy and simple but returning things is awful/terrible because of Ryan. He is rude, have an attitude and always his have this rude face that when he ask you for your information in a terrible way. If he isnt happy w his job find something else. But like I said is sad that after reading and asking the other employees knowing that he is the manager and that we all dont feel like he should be in a manager position higher management havent done anything regarding about him, every one else in the store are alwasy friendly and ask me when I need help but Ryan is a different story. I assume AE is having a hard time hiring the right people for the right spot and dont care about the proper/correct customer service that we all need and want as customers. They need to do something about him RYAN.

This was 100% some of the worst customer service I have ever experienced. For context, I went in yesterday to buy a bag that the app said this store had stock of. I couldn't find it in store so I asked the teenage girls working where the bags were. They were clearly mid conversation because they didnt even look at me as they replied they didnt have anymore. When I told them their website shows its in stock, one of the girls said she would check the back. She goes back for less than a minute and comes back saying they "sold out the day before" and the other girl, again not even looking at me, said to order it online.
Thinking it was odd, I stepped outside the store and ordered it for 2 hour pickup. Sure enough an hour later, all the sudden they have stock and my order is ready for pickup.
I had to leave for the day before I could pick it up so I returned today, and was greeted by the cashier with "Sup?" I showed her my order number and who I presume was the manager came out and handed it to me.
Overall such terrible customer service and work ethic from every employee I encountered. Such a bummer!

I rarely leave detailed reviews, but this experience was bad enough that I feel compelled to share it.
I came into American Eagle to make a simple return. I had my receipt, my rewards account, and unused items with tags attached that were well within the return policy. There was absolutely nothing unusual about the transaction.
The issue was the store manager’s attitude from the moment the interaction began. Every step of the process felt like an interrogation. He repeatedly questioned me, spoke to me in a condescending manner, and treated me as though I was doing something suspicious despite the fact that I had all of the required documentation and fully complied with every request he made.
I’ve worked in retail for nine years, including in a supervisory role, so I understand the importance of following policies and preventing fraud. This wasn’t about policy. It was about professionalism and basic respect. You can enforce store procedures without making customers feel like criminals or talking down to them.
My return was completed, but that doesn’t excuse how I was treated. The entire interaction was unnecessarily hostile and easily one of the rudest customer service experiences I’ve ever had. I walked away feeling like I was putting in more effort to be courteous than the store manager was.
What made this even more disappointing is that after leaving, I mentioned my experience to employees at a few other stores in the mall. More than one person indicated that this manager has a reputation for being rude to both customers and employees. Whether that’s true or not, it certainly aligned with the experience I had.
I don’t make statements like this lightly, but if this is a recurring issue, American Eagle should seriously consider whether this individual is the right fit for a customer-facing leadership role. Everyone has bad days, and perhaps there are circumstances I don’t know about, but if this is how customers are routinely treated, then either additional coaching, a different role, or time away from the position may be warranted.
No customer should leave a straightforward return feeling belittled, disrespected, and unwelcome.

Came here to restock my son's wardrobe. After he had some difficulties with style the worker helped build his confidence and really sold the clothing. He bought 4 pants 6 shirts a jacket and sweater. He looks great. The quality of the product is good for the price. Store was very organized and easy to locate items! Loved it.
