- TTTy TarantinoAug 3, 20261.0For context: I went to the union gap bass pro circa early June. A fish isle employee named Randy, struggled to put line on my reel and broke the $300 reel. He got super nervous and told me it was my fault. I took his word for it initially and paid to ship it back to Shimano. My contact, Kevin said it was 100% Randy’s fault because Randy can’t see how the line was too much pressure on the spool. I have called three times about a broken Shimano reel that I owned previously before coming in under warranty by Shimano. I have been utterly shocked how terrible I have been treated. Between getting stuck in the phone tree and someone claiming to be a manager yet they do nothing to contact me back. It cost me time and money to give you my business yet I have been treated awful by the people in charge of the location by not taking any accountability. I have asked repeatedly for in store credit for how much it cost to ship plus the month plus it has taken to get fixed. Along with my awful experience with the store managers. I don’t know how to get this fixed and I’m seriously dissatisfied with the entire experience. Are you able to help me talk to someone who will do something?
