- TSTravis SchusterJun 20, 20261.0Its really sad what has happened to cabelas. The customer service here is about as bad as it gets. I went to pick up an item, they told me to walk to the back of the store where the pickup area is located, if no one was back there, walk back to the front of the store. Sure enough, no one was back there. So we walked back to the front so they could call someone. Then back again to get it. Then to make a return, they demanded i have the original payment method on hand. Who carries all their credit cards with them these days? I just have no reason to shop here with the quality of the items being so poor and the customer service being this terrible. Both sportmans warehouse and REI offer high quality items and superior customer service. Edit: went back to return the tent with cabelas card in hand. Was told they should have been able to do it without the physical card. Also the first person i talked to said they couldnt help me because they were not trained. Never shopping at cabelas again after this.

I've been looking into St Croix fishing poles and when asked help from two store employees who worked the fishing poles section. Unfortunately they both had no interest in helping me. They both tried to pawn me off. I left feeling like a nuisance. Was trying to buy expensive pole for myself for Fathers Day. It didn't happen and wont bother ever going back to Cabelas Tulalip store. Save your time find elsewhere.
