  I absolutely love goodwill! I came from Oregon on a work trip and I was absolutely blown away by the prices here! A lot more affordable than Oregon! I did find a couple of things and as usual their book selection is good. The store was clean and everything was neatly stocked. The cashiers were a little serious but polite so I take that as a win! Will definitely be back!

  My complaint is NOT about being asked to leave at closing time. At approximately 7:56 PM, I was informed that the store would be closing in four minutes. I immediately apologized and began gathering my two young children (ages 5 and 2.5) so we could leave. While I was trying to get my 2.5-year-old daughter to put back a toy and head toward the exit, the manager accused me and my mother of being told “numerous times” to leave and claimed my mother had been told “10 times” and would not listen. This was surprising because, to the best of my recollection, I had only spoken with her twice before that point, and my mother was already waiting near the checkout area. When I disagreed with her description of events and suggested that surveillance footage could verify what had happened, the situation escalated further. Instead of addressing the discrepancy, I was repeatedly told to leave immediately and was threatened with police involvement if I did not leave. I have never before experienced a situation where police involvement was threatened while I was actively trying to leave a store with two young children. During the interaction, when the manager repeatedly threatened to call the police, my 5-year-old son became visibly upset. He clearly understood what was being said and began pulling on my clothing, urging me to leave. My younger daughter was too young to understand, but my son was frightened by the situation. After being informed that the store was closing, we stopped shopping and began leaving. We did not make any purchases, were not the last customers in the store, and there were still customers waiting in line at checkout when we exited. After returning home, I noticed another recent review describing a remarkably similar interaction involving what appeared to be the same individual. I was particularly concerned because the store publicly stated two weeks ago that management would address the issue to ensure it would not happen again. I have submitted a formal complaint to regional management and requested that surveillance footage be reviewed. After the interaction, while I was outside taking photos of the storefront and store hours for documentation purposes, I later noticed in live photos that the manager had looked toward the camera and posed with a peace sign and facial expression from inside the store. Given the circumstances, I found this behavior unprofessional.

  Great finds, even a beautiful crystal bowl! A whole kitchenette for tykes, GREAT prices. Wheelchair accessibility and friendly, helpful staff. Will be back for sure!

  I love goodwill, at least they give back to the community..... with that being said, the prices are getting to be a bit much. with the cost of everything skyrocketing we depend on goodwill to keep prices down. Isn't that what the boutiques are for?

  I entered the Goodwood store approximately one hour before closing time. A woman claiming to be the manager approached me aggressively and demanded I leave. She followed me around the store, shouting that I had to go and wouldn't be allowed to buy anything. She also accused me of harassing her by taking a picture of her. I found her behavior unprofessional and felt uncomfortable throughout the interaction.
